The weather in the Mayan Riviera can be regarded as tropical. Days are sunny, although sporadic rain showers (specially during June, September and October) may ocurr. Hurricane season is June through November, although in most cases it passes unnoticed. In any case, we recommend that you check the forecasts and change your plans if needed.
The best season to visit the Riviera is from March through June. This is a relatively dry season (except June), and prices are low due to the fact that not many american tourists visit the Riviera during that time.
